The land is farmed as those before us, to Save Our Soil for those beyond us. Some of the fields where we now grow organic cotton were farmed 500 years ago by the Plains Indians.
They grew corn, squash, beans, tobacco and cotton. We have saved many artifacts from this period that have been found on the land we farm. These people lived simple, sustainable lives and left clean healthy soil for our generation. We try to be the same good stewards of the beautiful Earth that God has created and hopefully leave the same for the next generation.

This has always been my philosophy with farm equipment and vehicles. I recently learned that a similar National slogan was used in WWII to call for the sacrifices Americans had to make for the war effort.
Our non renewable resources need even more conservation today for many reasons, economic, stewardship and just good common sense.
